What You Need to Apply

Before you begin your application, confirm that you have the following:

• A valid passport: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of entry into Azerbaijan. At least one blank page must be available for entry and exit stamps.
• A scanned copy of your passport: A clear scan of your passport's biographical data page is required. This is submitted as part of your online application.
• An email address: Your approved eVisa will be sent to the email address you provide during the application. Print the eVisa and carry it with you when you travel.
• A valid payment method: A payment method is required to complete the eVisa processing fee at the time of application.

eVisa Types Available to Italian Citizens

Italian citizens can apply for one of four Azerbaijan eVisa categories. Select the type that corresponds to your purpose of travel.

• Tourist eVisa: For travel to Azerbaijan for leisure or vacation.
• Business eVisa: For attending business meetings, conferences, or commercial engagements in Azerbaijan.
• Medical eVisa: For travel to Azerbaijan to receive medical treatment or healthcare services.
• Other eVisa: For travel purposes not covered by the three categories above. The Other eVisa covers the following purposes: Culture, Education, Humanitarian, Labour, Official Trip, Personal Trip, Science, and Sport.

Entry Conditions and Permitted Stay

All four eVisa types carry the same entry and stay conditions. These apply equally regardless of which category you apply under.

The eVisa permits a single entry only. If you exit Azerbaijan and wish to return, a new eVisa application is required.

eVisa Processing Options

The Azerbaijan eVisa is available in three processing tiers. Select the option that fits your travel timeline.

• Standard Processing 

  The default option for applicants with no immediate urgency. 

  Processing is completed Within 3 - 5 Days

• Rush Processing 

  For applicants who require their eVisa within a shorter timeframe. 

  Processing is completed Within 12 - 24 Hours

• Super Rush Processing 

  For applicants who need their eVisa at the earliest opportunity. 

  Processing is completed Within 4 - 6 Hours

Processing fees vary by tier. The fee increases with the speed of processing. Applicable Azerbaijan eVisa fees are displayed at the time of application.
