Azerbaijan eVisa Types and Permitted Travel Purposes
Azerbaijan offers four eVisa categories. Each one is tied to a specific travel purpose. All four share the same validity, stay duration, and entry conditions.

The Four Azerbaijan eVisa Types
Tourist eVisa: For travellers visiting Azerbaijan for leisure, sightseeing, or vacation.
Business eVisa: For visitors attending business meetings, conferences, or engaging in commercial cooperation with organisations in Azerbaijan. This eVisa does not permit salaried employment.
Medical eVisa: For visitors who intend to receive medical treatment or healthcare services in Azerbaijan.
Other eVisa:For travellers whose visit purpose is not covered by the Tourist, Business, or Medical eVisa. This category allows applicants to select from a defined set of travel purposes during the application. See the section below for the full list.
What Does the Other eVisa Cover?
If your reason for travelling to Azerbaijan does not fall under tourism, business, or medical treatment, the Other eVisa is the applicable category.
When applying under the Other eVisa, you will select one of the following travel purposes:
- Culture
- Education
- Humanitarian
- Labour
- Official Trip
- Personal Trip
- Science
- Sport
