Step-by-Step Azerbaijan Visa Application Process
Step 1: Access the Visa Portal and Begin Your Application
Open the Azerbaijan visa portal and select the “Application” option to start a new request.
On the first page, select your nationality from the list, then choose your travel document or passport type.
After selecting these details, enter the verification code shown on the screen to confirm your request. Then click “Continue” to proceed to the next stage of the application.
Step 2: Enter Your Visit and Travel Details
In this step, you will enter your travel details based on your plan. Firstly, select the purpose of your visit. Then choose the consideration period, which is the processing time for your visa.
After that, carefully select your visa validity start date, as your visa will remain valid for 90 days from the selected date.
As this is a single-entry visa, you can enter Azerbaijan only once and stay for up to 30 days. If you leave the country and wish to revisit, you will need to apply for a new visa.
Step 3: Check the Estimated Fee and Continue
On the same page, you will see the estimated visa fee based on the details you selected. This is shown for your reference so you can review the cost before moving ahead.
Once you have checked the fee, click on “Continue” to proceed to the next step.
Step 4: Accept the Terms and Conditions
After completing the previous step, you will be taken to the terms and conditions section for the Azerbaijani visa. Read these carefully before proceeding, as they explain the rules and key points related to the application.
Once you have reviewed the information, accept the terms and conditions to proceed to the next step.
Step 5: Fill in Personal and Passport Details
At this stage, you will be asked to provide your personal and passport details.
Enter each detail exactly as it appears on your passport, including your full name, passport number, date of birth, and other required information.
It is important to check everything carefully before moving ahead, as any mismatch with your passport can affect your application.
After entering the details, upload a clear scan of your passport bio page. Make sure the entire page is visible, all details are readable, and the image is not blurred or cropped.
For Example:
After entering your details and uploading your passport, click on “Complete Application” to view your application preview and carefully review all the information before proceeding.
Step 6: Submit the Application and Receive Payment Link
After carefully reviewing your application and confirming that all details are correct, submit it. Once submitted, an email with a link to the payment portal will be sent to pay the visa fee.
Step 7: Complete Payment and Wait for Approval
Once you open the payment portal via the link sent to your email, pay the visa fee with a debit or credit card.
After completing the payment, keep the receipt for your reference.
Your application will then be reviewed, and after approval, the Azerbaijan visa will be sent to your registered email address.
How to Enter Your Name Correctly
While completing the application, follow these instructions to enter your name correctly:
- Enter your name as it appears on your passport. Even a small difference can lead to rejection or an invalid visa.
- Fill in the surname (last name) and given name(s) in the correct fields without changing their order.
- Do not use initials, short forms, or nicknames. Always use the full name as printed on your passport.
- Avoid placeholders such as “FNU”, “XXX”, or symbols like “-”. These are not accepted and may result in rejection.
- If your passport has only one name or a different format, enter it exactly as shown without adding or removing anything.
- Take a moment to review your name carefully before proceeding to avoid delays or issues.
