Here's everything you must know before arriving.Most nationalities can apply for an Azerbaijan visa online.It allows a single entry and up to 30 days stay, valid for 90 days from issue. Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your visa's expiry.If you stay longer than 15 days, you're legally required to register your place of stay with the state migration service.For Kazakh nationals, this applies only if staying over 30 days. Overstaying your visa is a legal offense and may lead to fines, deportation, or entry bans. If your stay needs to be extended, submit a request before your visa expires.Approval is not guaranteed. To legally work in Azerbaijan, foreign nationals need a work permit,issued within 20 working days.However, highly qualified specialists may work without a permit, provided they hold a valid residence permit, valid for up to five years. Refugees may apply for protection and can work without needing a permit.  But entering the country illegally or violating visa rules can lead to strict penalties and removal orders.
